More books about Bob Dylan

".. songs that told stories about the wrong inside a nation that believed it was always right"

Greil Marcus on Bob Dylan's songs
The New York Review of Books has this review of 2 new books written about Bob Dylan. Both explore his place in American life and in American artistic and political history.

There has been a proliferation of recent books about the great man, most recently Clinton Heylin's two volume study of  how every Dylan song was written and recorded.

Hard to know how writers and academics can find anything more to say about Dylan and his work, but as someone who has read most of the  better works on Dylan I will visit the many libraries I frequent to borrow a copy of these 2 new books. Guess that is the reason why they keep writing the books!!
